Information collected through the BV Field App platform:
When your company uses BV Field App, the platform processes data on behalf of your business. This includes:
- Customer appointment details (name, address, contact information)
- Product selections, measurements, and configurations
- Interior and exterior photographs of job sites
- Quotes, pricing, and contract documents
- Electronic signatures and acceptance records
- Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store full credit card numbers or bank account details)

- Device type, browser type, and operating system
- IP address and general location
- Pages visited and interactions with our website
- Authentication records, including timestamps and IP addresses associated with magic link sign-in events
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve BV Field App
- To set up and configure your company’s product catalog and account
- To process quotes, e-signatures, and deposit payments
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- To administer the Referral Program, including issuing payments and 1099-NEC forms as required by the IRS

- Stripe: Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. When customers submit payment through BV Field App, their payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Cloud infrastructure providers: We use third-party hosting and storage services to operate the platform. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect data transmitted to and stored within BV Field App. This includes encryption of data in transit via TLS/SSL, secure cloud storage for photos and documents, and access controls limiting who within your organization can view or modify data. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow for reactivation, after which it will be deleted or anonymized. We retain Referral Program records (including mailing addresses and payout history) for as long as required for tax reporting purposes.

- Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.
